What a weekend!

Wow, what a quick weekend it was! I think a have a second full time job in Girl Scouts! We had a sleepover Friday night. The sleepover was fun, but a lot on a day after school...out of 8 girls, I think 3, maybe 4 ended up crying by the end of the night at some point! I slept on the floor, and thanks to that, I now can't move my back! The girls were very cute, though. They learned a new line dance, played lots of games, watched High School Musical and Cheetah Girls, and earned 4 badges in one night.

Saturday started our cookie booths. We did one at Great Clips on Saturday and one at Marsh on Sunday... we sold close to 100 boxes of cookies between the two days! Hopefully, we can earn enough money to do some fun stuff! We have 2 more weekends of cookie booths to go.

We had our monthly night with our buddies this weekend, too. Bob, Beau, and Beve together and drinking always makes for fun times with lots of laughing. Of course, Christa and I played Nerts..our most favorite card game ever (as long as I am not playing against Boo)!

That's all for now. I'll post some pictures soon.

Cookies..Cookies..Cookies!!

I am up to my ears in Girl Scout cookies. I have 1060 boxes of cookies in our front room. Bob and the kids helped me sort them out last night, tho. They are ready to be picked up. It will be a miracle if Ben stays out of the thin mints..he is infamous for getting up in the middle of the night for snacks. I find poptarts, granola bar wrappers, and all kinds of stuff in his room!

Emma has another snow day today...so far this week, she has had a 2 hour delay and 2 days off..she is loving it. Today the snow is blowing and drifting in 40 mph winds. I think these days will mean extra days added to the end of the school year.

Snowy day

We woke up to a lot of snow this morning and a snow day for Emma! It is quiet at work thanks to the snow. Our week has started as usual with Ballet last night. Emma had a Valentine's party at dance where she exchanged cards and yummies with her friends and Ms. Debbie. We are supposed to have tutoring tonight at Anderson University, but I am guessing that will be cancelled due to weather. Actually, I like the idea of staying in tonight even if it is because of the weather. We rarely get a night to relax during the week.

Missing family

Well, I am creating this blog because our family is spread out from New York state to Indiana, to Hawaii. We have kids that miss seeing their grandparents and cousins, therefore I thought this would be a great way to keep up to date with what is happening in our lives.
